BT Call Guardian didn't pick up on who it was. Pretty sure it was a scam or maybe just some call centre. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Someone called saying they were from BT, but trust me, they weren’t. I’m actually employed by BT and they couldn’t provide a proper work ID or any genuine group number. They kept making up stuff about their name and which department they were in. They even transferred me to a supervisor who was incredibly disrespectful. BE WARNED, DO NOT ALLOW THEM ACCESS TO YOUR PC - THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!

Got a call from a scammer showing a fake number, but they messed up pretty bad - the number they displayed was way too long, like 14 digits or something. Anyone who knows UK numbers will tell you that’s not how it goes, they never run that long. Shows how clueless these scammers are!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, telling me my computer was hacked by folks from the US or Canada. I just ended the call. Total scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT London, claiming my computer was compromised. I just ended the call straight away.
