9 yearsI received a rather unsettling phone call today, where the caller informed me that I had supposedly been in a car accident. When I probed for more details, the gentleman insisted it might concern someone I knew instead. I promptly countered his claim, asserting that I, indeed, had not had any such incident. What followed was an absurd debate where he argued about my supposed involvement in this accident. I then posed a rather pointed question about how he would feel if someone called his own mother to say she’d been in an accident. Instead of backing down, he shifted gears and began inquiring about whether I had children, even pressing for their details! It was all quite alarming and intrusive-definitely not something that sits well with anyone. I told him to leave me be, to which he defiantly replied he wouldn't, prompting me to end the call!
