I received a rather puzzling call on my private landline today (Friday, 21st January 2022) from a woman with an Asian or Indian accent claiming to be from Vanquis Bank. There was notable interference on the line, making it even more difficult to assess the situation. I refrained from disclosing any personal details - in fact, I barely allowed her the opportunity to pose any questions. I made it quite clear that it was inappropriate for her to contact me on an unlisted number, irrespective of whether the call was genuinely from Vanquis Bank or not. I expressed my displeasure at their intrusion and promptly ended the conversation. When I pointed out that they shouldn't possess my number, she rather disturbingly confirmed that they did. I found her approach quite unsettling, especially as she neglected to identify herself or provide any clear reason for the call at the outset.

It appears that it’s Vanquis reaching out to us from those mobile numbers listed above, even though we aren’t in debt to them at all. Quite baffling, really! They've been sending correspondence to our previous address instead of their updated one, which is rather frustrating.

This number has been incessantly calling me-honestly, it must be at least twenty times a day! It’s definitely not about any debts; it feels more like harassment at this point. It’s quite absurd, really, and we've both agreed not to answer. We suspect it’s Vanquis, so I’d advise everyone to avoid them. They’ve somehow got our address but have never bothered to send a single letter. Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say?

I've been receiving calls from Vanquis regarding my credit line, and it’s getting a bit ridiculous. It seems they have an array of numbers they'll use to contact me-I'm talking around twenty different ones! They'll ring me from one number, then not even a minute later, another call comes in from a completely different area. For instance, I got one from Newcastle upon Tyne, and just moments after that, a call from Manchester! Do they think I'm oblivious or something? It's quite frustrating, to say the least!
