We've had this number hounding us incessantly, ringing about every forty seconds throughout the entire day. Turns out it's Impact Collections acting on behalf of Vanquis Bank. It's utterly baffling that they're still calling when we're actively sorting out our Payment Protection Insurance. Honestly, over three calls earlier today felt like harassment as per Ofcom’s guidelines. It’s walking a fine line into stalking territory. And to top it off, they refuse to leave any messages!

I can completely relate to this! I’ve been receiving calls from them every forty minutes. My phone's at the opposite end of the house, so I’ve had to jot down each call because they tend to hang up without leaving a message after two or three attempts. The ringing begins as early as 8 to 8:30 am, which is a real nuisance since I work night shifts. It's not just this particular number either; there are plenty of others doing the same. And, if you're foolish enough to call them back? You might just end up on a premium rate line, those cheeky blighters!

This number continually pings my phone, and I'm convinced it's some sort of scam where you can end up racking up charges at a staggering rate! We make it a point never to answer these calls.

Indeed, it seems this was Impact Collections ringing on behalf of Vanquis. Just to highlight, there are other numbers these individuals persistently use to contact you. Apologies for the inconvenience, but it feels more like harassment than anything else, particularly from 3:15 in the afternoon onwards. Honestly, the only other credit company that was more exasperating to engage with was Capital One. I absolutely won't be dealing with either of them again!
