I got a call from someone with an accent, sounded like maybe from Pakistan or India. They claimed they worked for BT and said my home’s server was hacked or something. They wanted me to switch on my computer and do exactly what they told me. I asked them a few times if they really worked for BT, and they said yes, even gave a London address. Funny thing is, their phone number was from Manchester, though. I told them I'd ring back after checking the number, but then they just cut me off. Just another nasty scammer like the rest these days.
