Received a couple of calls today about mobile plans and honestly, what a futile exercise. It would be brilliant if someone could trace the company behind this and give them a ring... repeatedly! (Not this number, of course, since it only makes outgoing calls.) If they found their own phones ringing off the hook from annoyed members of the public, perhaps they would think twice about plying us with these tiresome sales pitches!

I've received a staggering nine calls up to now! Occasionally, I've even had two in a single day. Out of those, six times the line went dead as soon as I picked up. Two of the calls were entirely silent, and one came with a rather bizarre pre-recorded message that simply said, "Goodbye" when I answered. I've gone ahead and reported this nuisance to the Telephone Preference Service, the Information Commissioner's Office, and Ofcom. It's utterly ridiculous!

According to their records, they are aware of my dormant pension and are equipped to assist me in sorting it out.

I received a phone call from them, claiming to have spotted a frozen pension of mine in their records and that they could assist with it. However, they didn’t seem to possess any specifics since, apparently, Data Protection is in play. So, how on earth are they aware of my situation?
As soon as I started delving into my inquiries, they quickly backpedalled and ended the conversation. Just a bunch of scammers, if you ask me!

I received a rather dubious call today, claiming I was listed on some sort of government database and had money owed to me. I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it, and I told her as much, but also encouraged her to carry on and explain further. To my surprise, she promptly cut the line.

I informed them that I was unable to converse at that moment and promptly reached out to O2 directly, only to discover that this number is in no way affiliated with them. I urge everyone to refrain from sharing any account information with callers from this number!

I had a rather peculiar experience with this number yesterday (30th April 2013). A woman called me, all eager to chat about various upgrades and packages, but when I pressed her on who she was affiliated with, she insisted she was from o2. I wasn’t interested, so I firmly requested that she take my number off their list. However, today (1st May 2013), I’ve already had two missed calls from the very same number! When I try to return the call, it just leads to a silent line. Quite annoying, isn’t it?
