Somebody rang me pretending to be from the water supplier, asking who deals with the water and energy bills. They kept calling me back multiple times.

This number rings me loads times a day but always goes to voicemail and I never get a message. When I called back, a woman answered. Like others said, the company’s called Connect and they claim to be a 'service provider for small businesses' or something like that. I told them to take me off their lists under GDPR rules. Also warned them I’d complain to Ofcom, if it matters at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the rewards team from my business insurance, but that’s definitely not right. I think they’re from Kinex or something similar. They really pushed hard to get me to agree to switch my phone and broadband there and then. They weren’t very upfront about their true intentions. Told them I wasn’t interested unless I had details in writing. They said they couldn’t carry on unless I agreed on the spot, so I ended the call. Would steer clear of these lot.

Got loads of calls from these lot, when are these daft muppets gonna understand cold calling is against the law? If I wanted what they're selling, I’d ring them up myself. Proper pushy and unprofessional. I even overheard some Irish bloke chatting about XBox with a mate before he realised the call was live. Totally unprofessional and wouldn’t trust any of them to care for a dog, let alone themselves. The noise in the background sounded like a classroom full of kids.

Got a call from this number earlier today. Some young bloke with a northern accent (Manchester area code, so no shock there). He claimed to be from Business Stream and asked if this was the business contact - sounded really unprofessional to me.

The company’s name is Kinex, like someone else mentioned, they offer a kind of ‘all in one’ service for business utilities. I’ve been using them for electricity for about 9 months now. No issues up to now, but they’re quite persistent when trying to get you to sign up for other stuff they offer. I can’t complain about the costs or the service though. Just don’t really get on with their approach to selling - they’re way too aggressive. But I suppose that’s just how things go in such a tough market.

KINEX - STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS! I've just had an absolutely infuriating encounter with these chaps who attempted to peddle me yet another contract! After I’d clearly stated that my prior discussion was meant to be recorded - which I’m now convinced is a load of nonsense - I explained that I had only recently switched providers a few months back and am locked into a year-long contract. They had the audacity to chuckle at my situation and then practically yelled at me, insisting I must want to save a few quid! I rang them back immediately, only to be met with a load of codswallop regarding their supposed review of the recording. They claimed they’d be erasing my info, yet if I get another call from these clowns, I’ll be taking it up with the relevant regulators. Unbelievable!

Today, I received a call from this number, and when I inquired about passing on a message for the individual, the woman abruptly stated she would call back later before hanging up rather harshly. I tried to return the call, and someone answered, yet when I asked who I was speaking to, they got rid of me just as swiftly. Quite discourteous, to say the least! At one point, I had a staggering 16 missed calls from them in the span of three hours on my personal phone. I've decided to block them on my mobile, but sadly, I can't do the same on my work line.

A woman called asking for someone who clearly doesn't live here. When I told her she’d got the wrong number, she seemed shocked and kept going on about not calling a cleaning firm! Then she asked if this was a home phone. She didn’t say who she was or where she was calling from until I pressed her, and it sounded like she said "Connect" or something. I was in a hurry, so just ended the call quickly.

Got a call asking for whoever pays the BT bill. Pretty sure it was a cold call. This number definitely isn’t linked to BT. They kept politely pushing, asking for the bill payer two times.

It’s refreshing to hear a proper English accent instead of the usual youthful voices we often get. This time, at least they mentioned the name of the business owner, which is a rarity. However, they forgot the basic etiquette of introducing themselves or stating their reason for the call. When I cheekily mentioned that the owner might be off enjoying the sunshine in Tunisia for the summer, I can't help but think it will do little to deter their relentless attempts to ring up every single day from now on!

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number lately. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to pick up - turns out it was Kinex trying to persuade me to switch my phone and broadband provider. It seems they've conveniently forgotten that I’ve had run-ins with them in the past. A couple of years back, a chap from their team came round, making grand claims about lightning-fast broadband speeds. However, when you scrutinised the fine print of the contract, it revealed nothing more than the most basic options - a stark contrast to what he was touting! They've mentioned they’ll remove my number from their records, so let's hope this is the last I hear from them.
