I had an overly assertive salesperson on the line about card readers who went on about how I'm supposedly missing out on 80% of potential customers by not using their service. I had to politely tell her she was talking nonsense since I’ve been running my business without any hassle for the past seven years. These days, most folks are perfectly happy to pay using their banking apps anyway. I'll likely get a card reader eventually, but I intend to do my homework first! Definitely can't recommend going with someone who cold calls you like that!
