Had a chat with some bloke called Carl Clown last night, who apparently works for this dodgy outfit named Fresh Start. He let slip that the numbers and info they use come from a fella named John Lindsay, who’s the head of Tab Finance but also runs Fresh Start Financial Limited on the side. Carl admitted that what they’re up to isn’t exactly legal, but he said it’s just a job to him and "as long as I’m getting paid, I don’t care." I'm now told to ring from a mobile number, 07805015192, since so many folks have blocked the usual lines after multiple calls - this is meant to catch them off guard. I've taken the initiative to reach out to the Telephone Preference Service, and they've assured me an investigation is underway, citing that this particular company has received an avalanche of complaints. I mess with them by playing along since they’re in a rush and every minute counts for them. I feed them rubbish info, and after about ten minutes I start throwing out really awkward questions about their partners or even their mums. I keep getting calls from these lot, sometimes up to 5-10 times daily, all asking for someone called "Emma". I've never heard of an Emma, and I've had this number for nearly eight years, so there's definitely no Emma linked to it for a good while now. Every time I tell them, they say they'll take me off their list, but they just keep ringing back over and over. It’s getting a bit much really.

For ages now my dad has been receiving calls from this number, and on top of that heaps of calls and texts from other numbers too. Every single one is a scam and they keep mentioning some Michael Day in every call or message. I picked up the phone twice today to ask them to take our number off their list, but they just dropped the call. It’s really upsetting and irritating.
