It’s some legal firm called AMG or something similar. They’ve been ringing me loads of times every day for the past week. Every time I pick up, I ask them to take me off their list. When I finally got a hold of an actual person, the guy said, “Where’s she gone?” so I said “Hello?!” He asked for me by name and mentioned an RTC I was supposedly involved in. I told him I don’t even have a car, then he just muted me and hung up. I’ve blocked the number now but I’m sure they’ll just call from another one like they always do.

Don’t bother calling back, sometimes it’s a scam where they charge you for ringing them back. Lately, they’ve been using 0800 numbers on landlines that don’t show up in the directory, which makes it even trickier. Thankfully, sites like this and the blocking options from phone companies are a real help for keeping these annoying calls off both my landline and mobile. Just block ’em, that’s my advice.

Loads of people seem to be moaning about calls from this number. When I answered, it was either complete silence or some really nasty and disrespectful person at the other end. They probably reckon they're all tough, hurling insults then cutting off. My advice is to just block this number and don’t let those muppets spoil your mood or waste your time. Some guy named Martin rang my mum’s place today, asking for my dad who’s been dead for 4 years now! I asked what company he was from, he said AMS but wouldn’t give any more details. When I asked why he thought he could call here, he got really rude and shouted, asking why I didn’t just say dad was dead. I told him to piss off and he replied with a rude comment too. These idiots keep ringing non-stop asking for my dad, and it’s really upsetting my mum. She’s on the TPS and it’s absolutely useless.

Im the one who told the scammer I was dead. Why on earth should I be polite to these lot or just put the phone down? They tricked me by saying I’d had an accident. I’m also on the TPS, so they called illegally! They’re the worst kind of scammers and honestly I’m so sick of these liars disturbing my peace. Got a call from some scammers talking about an "accident" supposedly within the past year, but they couldn’t give me any real details. Since I hadn’t been in any accident, I knew it was nonsense. They sounded pretty convincing though, claiming they were government backed and working through a third party to reach me. They were trying to get me to file a claim for money they said I might be entitled to. They were really insistent and quite pushy, which could easily make someone feel pressured or scared. Best just to say their records are wrong and hang up quickly.

I actually picked up when this number called me. The woman asked about a car crash I had. I said it’s all sorted now and told her to remove me from their list.
