I got a call from a local number with a recorded message supposedley from British Telecom saying there was unauthorised access on my line. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer so I hung up straight away. Then I tried dialling 1741 and someone answered, claiming they were from BT and asked what they could do to help. I ended the call again, but after that I could finally get through to 1741 properly.
