Got a call from a recruitment agency asking if I could give a reference for a mate of mine. Bit odd since I’m not sure if I’m the right person for that but they were quite keen to get some feedback on him. Seemed like they wanted to check up on his background before offering him a job or something. Didn’t really know what to say, wasn’t expecting that kind of call!
