Just got a dodgy call supposedly from BT, told the lady to jog on as I don’t have BT at all. Then, not long after, a bloke with an Asian accent rings saying he’s from Virgin about my internet. I said I’d get in touch with my provider myself, but he kept saying it didn’t matter who I was with and tried to find out my provider, which I never told him. Rang up my actual provider and they confirmed it was a scam. These scammers will try anything to con you. Stay sharp!

I just got this dodgy call, first from someone pretending to be BT, told her straight up I don’t use BT and to buzz off. Not long after, another bloke with an Asian accent rings claiming he’s from Virgin about my broadband. When I said I’d ring my provider myself, he kept pushing saying it didn’t matter who I used and kept asking who my provider was, but I refused to say. So I called my actual provider and they confirmed it was definitely a scam. They’ll try anything to trick you. Watch out, folks!
