Some bloke rang saying he was from IT support, but unlike the usual Microsoft scam calls, he didn’t say that. He told me to open the Event Viewer by typing eventvwr in the Run box, then said the errors there showed my PC had serious problems - which wasn’t true, just normal app warnings. After that, he tried to get me to open (#ltmvhelp(ié], probably to get remote access using that remote desktop tool. I wisely didn’t go along with it. Total scam, so don’t ever download any software they tell you to.
