I keep getting calls and have no idea who it is. Just really wanna find out who's on the other end.

Just got a call around 2:30pm claiming to be from HMRC with a weird robotic voice speaking in a strange mid-Atlantic accent. They said something like, "Because you ignored our letter, an arrest warrant has been put out for your tax non-payment. Press 1 now to talk to your case officer." Problem is, I never received any letter, and HMRC doesn’t usually ring unless you've already agreed to it somehow. Looks like an old scam with a new twist, so watch out everyone!

Got a phone call earlier from someone sounding like a robot with an odd accent, claiming to be from HMRC. They said, "You have ignored our letter, so an arrest warrant has been issued for unpaid taxes. Press 1 now to talk to your case officer." Thing is, I never got any letter at all, and HMRC doesn't call you out of the blue unless you've organised it with them first.
