I got a call from some bloke who began rapping with loads of swears, it was proper strange. Before I could even say cheers, he’d already ended the call. Weird experience.

Today I got a call off this number. The guy said his friend was going to phone me the next day, and they mentioned they’d give me a ring at 3pm on Wednesday. When I tried to ring back, the number just wouldn’t go through.

Had a very similar thing happen to me, they were saying there were government grants available and gave me a whole year to make up my mind. The annoying part was the call came around 8 in the evening, really late! They also asked if they could meet my wife, which was a bit odd. They didn't stop ringing either, calling every single day. I tried calling back the number 01611251254245 but it didn’t seem to be recognised at all... really suspicious!

Got a call from a lady about some grant money for replacing windows. She wanted to check if I was (name) living at (address). I told her I wasn’t really up for chatting since I had no clue who she was. After pressing her a couple of times, she finally said her name was "Katie" and she was ringing from "the window company" (right, sure). I didn’t give her any info but mentioned that my number is on the TPS list. She went quiet after that. I asked if that meant anything to her... still nothing. Then she just hung up.

Got a call from someone pushing replacement windows, said it was grant-funded or something. Refused to say which company he was with. He insisted he had already been to our place and that we'd shown interest, which was total rubbish. When I challenged him and told him we weren't interested, he got all sarcastic and rude for no reason, then just hung up on me before I could ask to be taken off their list. The fact he just cut me off really annoyed me, so I tried calling back the number on my phone but it just said 'number not recognised' - obvious it's a one-way number for calls out only.
