Got a call just after 10, said it was from H.M.R.C. but sounded totally robotic. The automated message told me there’d been some tax fraud linked to me, and if I wanted to chat with the officer dealing with it, I had to press 1. They warned that if I didn’t press 1, a warrant would be put out for me and I’d be arrested. Sounded dodgy to me.
