I’ve had calls from them a few times about some car finance refund, but I’ve never actually owned a car in my life, and I’m past 50 now. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

The call was mostly quiet, I could hear faint noises like someone was around but not speaking. Suddenly, they just ended the call on their side.

I keep getting calls from what they say is Microsoft, been happening twice daily. They ring from the number 02396523452 too. I blocked those numbers but they just call from new ones each time. When I told them I was onto their scam, they threatened to lock my computer. Proper nuisance!

I received a call from a chap purporting to represent Microsoft. When I requested that he provide proof by sending an email from his official Microsoft account, he became quite dismissive. So, I decided it was best to just hang up.

I stopped leaving voicemails after a couple of calls, just ended up blocking the number instead.

I just got a call from this number, a bloke called David claimed he was from Microsoft. I hung up straight away because I’m aware Microsoft never calls you out of the blue like that.

Got a call from some bloke with a foreign accent claiming he was from Microsoft, supposedly out of Reading. But the number showing up on my caller ID started with 0161, which I know is Manchester. He tried to convince me by giving a Reading phone number to check that he was some guy called Sam Austin from MS. Pretty obvious it was a fake number trick. Complete nonsense, but I kept him chatting for about ten and a half minutes before he finally gave up. I blocked the number through the 1572 service - thankfully that’s dead easy to do.

Some bloke said he was calling from Microsoft, saying there was something wrong with my computer. I just pretended I didn't know what he was talking about and kept him chatting until he got bored and ended the call.
