I got a phone call claiming someone had spent £600 from my bank card online. When I pressed 1, a voice answered with a simple "hello," and I could hear what sounded like a busy office in the background. I didn't respond, and they just ended the call.

I received a rather alarming message on my mobile, informing me that £600 had been withdrawn internationally from my account! To make matters worse, it was a live call. I ended the conversation quickly, as I had received a nearly identical call just a day prior. Quite unsettling, to say the least!
