I picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence at first. Then, out of nowhere, a robotic voice said "goodbye" and the call ended abruptly.

Got a call from some sketchy call centre, probably based in India or somewhere similar. They were really pushy and kept asking stuff that really shouldn’t concern them. Proper annoying!

I just hung up as soon as it picked up.

it defo sounded like a call centre. when i answered the phone, there was loads of slurping and burping going on. the person wanted to speak to whoever handles the money stuff in the house. they asked for loads of details they had no right to ask for and wouldnt say what company they were calling from. then they got really rude and just ended the call.
