I keep getting loads of prank calls and texts non stop, it's really annoying!

Got a call from some company claiming they could sort out PPI claims. Actually ended up chatting with someone proper on the phone, they were pushing their PPI stuff.

This number popped up on my phone but I didn’t recognise it at all. Missed the call and now have no clue who it could of been.

I got a call from a firm claiming to do PPI stuff, supposedly out of Leeds. They ring you on your mobile and give fake names, trying to sound legit. They ask for the last four digits of any loans you might have and when they started, saying they can help you reclaim PPI. From what I heard, the boss hires guys from the Philippines who are paid very little to do this dodgy work. Honestly, it doesn’t seem trustworthy at all, so don’t share your personal info. If something feels off, look into it more and consider reporting it to the police.
