Got a call from a guy with a strong Indian accent saying he was from Amazon. These sort of Amazon scam calls are so frequent now, I just waste their time telling them to buzz off before putting the phone down. The number’s got a Northallerton area code, which is this quiet little market town up north in England that’s got no links to Amazon or any big firm, so it’s clearly a fake number they’re using for the scam. It’s really annoying how these spoofed numbers keep getting about and no one seems to be sorting it out.
