Got a call from someone who said they were from Amazon's security team, which I found quite laughable. They told me they'd emailed me the night before about a suspicious attempt to access my account. They even dropped a very typical English name for the supposed fraudster and mentioned my county, but never once used my name. The person said they'd hang on while I checked my emails. I just left the phone on the table and browsed my inbox, didn’t see anything odd. When I looked back, the call was cut off. Personally, I reckon these sorts of calls are really risky and best ignored.
