On 3rd August 2019, I got a call from 01600949142 telling me there was a transaction on my card.

I've just had a rather peculiar automated call from 01609144729. A woman’s voice claimed to be representing Visa Mastercard, stating that a transaction for £600 had been processed from my account. They insisted I press 1 to proceed. Funny thing is, this is almost identical to a call I got the other day from 01011692736. Definitely need to alert the ICO about this dodgy business!

I got a call from 01609144729 with a recorded female voice saying it was from Visa Mastercard. She claimed there was a £600 charge on my account and asked me to press 1. This is the same kind of scam call we had recently from 01011692736. Best to report it to the ICO, the Information Commissioner's Office.
