Today, I received a rather suspicious phone call purporting to be from BT. It was clearly a scam- the caller claimed that my internet would be cut off within the next day unless I pressed '1' to speak with their Technical Support. The whole thing was delivered by a pre-recorded female voice that was drowned in annoying background music. I took the step of searching for the number online and found it labelled as a scam, so I've decided to report this incident here as well and will definitely be adding the number to my block list.
