we never answered, but our voicemail always leaves a silent message for all calls we get. today i noticed i had 12 missed calls from this number, all between 9 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. my missus answered once before and it really freaked her out.

This week I got called three times, twice by different numbers both pretending to be from Amazon Prime. Each time it was a pre-recorded message saying they’d keep taking £79.99 every month unless I press 4 to cancel. Pretty sure they’re just after bank info. I just hung up right away. It’s scary how easily vulnerable folks could fall for this. We never even signed up for Amazon Prime. These scams really need to be shut down fast. Don’t let them fool you, they sound so legit. Everyone should warn their friends and family about this rubbish.

This number, 01608813028, has been ringing me for the past three days. After looking through the reviews here, cheers to everyone who’s shared their experiences. Honestly, shouldn't our phone companies step up already? Loads of folks are falling victim to scams all the time.

I got a call earlier from a person with an American accent saying they were from Amazon Prime. It was a recorded message telling me my Amazon Prime account had expired and they were going to take £79.99 out of my bank. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! I double-checked on Amazon and it says I’m not a member. Also had a look at my bank balance and no money's been taken so far. I’m blocking that number straight away. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t share any info with them.

Got another call from some automated voice saying my Amazon Prime is about to run out! So annoying!

Loads of calls keep coming from “amazon prime,” always from different numbers that don’t seem real, like the one I got earlier today. Got so fed up I actually hit "1" once, just to see what would happen and have a go at whoever picked up! But after a bit of silence, they just hung up on me. Hope I haven’t accidentally caused any trouble by doing that! From what I gather, these scams only work if you end up sharing your details with them.

When I picked up, the call just dropped because they heard my voicemail. Weird thing is, they didn’t even bother calling back.

the moment i answered the call with a simple hello they just hung up. after looking through some of the remarks here, it turns out it was probably amazon prime calling me - but they used another number when they tried me yesterday. i don't even have amazon prime, so with all these daily calls, i'm totally not keen.

Got a call from someone saying they were Amazon Prime and that if I didn't press one they would cancel my subscription. Total scam, obviously. This is the second time they've tried this.

Got a call this morning from a new number, sounded like the same old scam about an Amazon Prime subscription auto-renewing that I never even signed up for. Can’t believe it, that’s like the 11th time they’ve phoned today! Such a pain.

Got a call today just after midday from a different number claiming to be Amazon Prime. Sounds fishy, like the scam I got yesterday but a new number. I picked up and as soon as I did, the caller just hung up. These con artists are really something else. Stay sharp folks, don’t trust calls asking for your money or card info. Keep your wits about you, especially here in Peterborough!

I've gotten 3 calls now from different numbers all with the exact same automated message about renewing my Amazon account and needing to pay something. Total scam, don't fall for it.

Had calls from different numbers pretending to be amazon prime, like 10 times yesterday alone. Then, just in the past 30 mins, got three more. The weird thing is if I say nothing when I answer, it just ends the call on its own. Proper annoying!
