Indeed, the number 01608690670 appears to belong to the NHS. A chap from the hospital's administration gave me a ring this morning. However, when I attempted to return the call later, I encountered a rather irritating message stating ‘number not recognised’. Quite odd, wouldn't you say?

I just received a reminder from the NHS about my appointment. It was an automated call, and once I picked up, I had the chance to confirm my attendance, cancel, or reschedule if needed. I only managed to answer it now as I missed it yesterday.

I keep receiving calls from the same number that just rings once before hanging up. I've attempted to return the call, but it merely beeps twice and then cuts off. It's quite relentless, with as many as six calls coming through each day! The first ones started when I was in the States, and even now that I’m back in the UK – I returned this morning after leaving last night – I've had a reprieve with no calls yet today. I'm really curious about who these people are! I sincerely hope I won't end up with any charges for the 20 or so calls I've had over the past week!

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number to the point where I’ve genuinely lost track. More often than not, the call cuts off before I can even pick up, and whenever I attempt to return the call, it’s perpetually engaged. It feels like I’m being bombarded by an endless automated dialler. This situation is simply unacceptable!
