I am requesting a refund of £149.00 due to an overpayment for kitchen appliances, which includes the cooker, washing machine, and fridge. It was mentioned that these were from home appliance insurance covering the three items, and this transaction occurred back in December 2022. I made it clear that this was inaccurate, and my call was abruptly terminated.

I just had a rather concerning call from this number. An individual with a pronounced Indian accent rang my elderly mother, claiming she was entitled to some sort of refund and then went on to request her bank information. Thankfully, my mother had the foresight to hang up before giving anything away.

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent regarding my internet service. I told her to cease her scamming attempts. She later checked into the number and confirmed my suspicions—it’s indeed a sleazy scammer. It baffles me why these people don’t just find honest work or, better yet, leave the country altogether.

An Asian lady informed us that we had been billed an excess of £149 for some kitchen gadgets and was looking to issue a refund. I politely suggested she should leave us be, though I may not have been quite so civil about it.

A woman rang me about a kitchen gadget I bought not long ago, claiming I’d been charged an extra £149.99 and they wanted to reimburse me to my card. She asked if I still had the card I originally used, as they required the details. I couldn’t help but respond, “Let me put it plainly: P*** Off!”

I've received an automated call purporting to be from Visa, claiming that £1000 had been debited due to an online transaction, followed by an additional deduction of £900. It was definitely a pre-recorded message. Someone really needs to put a stop to these scammers!

I couldn’t believe the audacity of this bloke! He was the most unconvincing scammer I’ve ever had the misfortune to chat with. He claimed to represent my “kitchen gadget firm” and insisted that I’d been overcharged by £150 because of some supposed technical mishap. I straight up told him he was talking nonsense, and just like that – click – he was gone!

I received a phone call from this number, and the person on the other end claimed to be from Virgin Media, trying to peddle various offers. Curiously, when I inquired about why they were using a local number instead of the standard ones typically associated with Virgin, they abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
