This number 01608 610134 has been ringing me nonstop like 6 times in just 3 days. Luckily, it’s on auto block now. But when I tried calling back, there’s this message like “you've been contacted by the protection team, this mailbox is full”. Thing is, I haven’t got any voicemail to check or reply to. Without a message, I’m just not picking up since it seems like it’s not that urgent or important.

i keep getting calls from this number, and as soon as i pick up, they just hang up. they always want to speak to my missus, and seem to get annoyed if i answer. we’ve told them loads of times to stop ringing her phone, but they just carry on. think i’m gonna have to talk to a lawyer about this harassment soon.

Got a call from a Leeds number asking if I had life insurance - I don't. Then, a different Leeds number called later, asking the exact same question. Proper irritating!

some bloke with a geordie accent called me and seemed to know my first name. he said he was ringing to confirm my life insurance info was current, which i don't even have. when i told him that, he switched to trying to sell me a policy. he wasn't aggressive or anything, just a bit irritating ringing me around tea time. i'd say it was borderline harassment.

I looked up the Protection People and found they were based at Itd34 School Street, Hemingfield, Barnsley, UK. Their company number was 11013561, but it seems they shut down back in April 2019. They were a private limited company, mainly dealing with insurance agents and brokers under the code 66220. Quite surprised to see they’re no longer active!
