I got a call about a diesel emissions thing, but as soon as I told them I don’t own a diesel vehicle, they just cut me off. Didn’t even say goodbye or anything! Bit rude if you ask me 😕

That accent wasn’t from Chipping Norton at all! A woman called me asking about some diesel compensation for my BMW and even had my registration number. But as soon as I told her my car’s a petrol and way too old for any claim, she just hung up. Makes me wonder if the DVLA are handing out our details to anyone?

When I answered the phone, there was complete silence. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to call the number back. It rang, but all I got was dead air - no ringing tone at all!
