i answered with a quick hello then they stayed quiet so I just ended the call after a couple seconds. another one of those silent numbers again.

Picked up the call just after two rings and the line went dead straight away. Clearly a total waste of time or some kind of scam. Honestly, wouldn’t it be brilliant if every time one of these fraudsters called, they got zapped! What on earth is being done to tackle this mess? I reckon telecom firms here in the UK should be held responsible for selling blocked numbers to overseas companies. If they stopped that, maybe these calls would finally cease.
