I let the phone ring, then tried calling back but no one picked up. Over the past few days, I've gotten three calls with the same area code but from different numbers.

Got a call from someone saying they were my internet provider and threatening to cut off my connection in half an hour. Total con job! I got the exact same message a couple of weeks back and, guess what, my internet's still up and running fine. The call was definitely automated too, 'cause the moment I answered and said hello, they just launched right into their spiel. Best to just hang up and not bother with it.
