I rang my 94-year-old mum's phone and hit 2, only to be connected to some bloke pretending to be from Amazon, inquiring about an iPhone order. I told him straight that this was an unsolicited, unwanted nuisance call, and he promptly hung up. I tried 1471 and retrieved the number, but upon calling it back, I was greeted with a message saying it’s unrecognised. It’s outrageous that a company is allowed to make such calls and prevent any return communication from the number they dialled. That's a serious criminal offence. If I manage to uncover who’s behind this, they're in for a world of trouble!
