I received a call today from 01606865128, and it seems linked to a couple of other 13-digit numbers that rang on my landline earlier this morning. The voice on the other end gave me a spiel about my internet service being terminated and urged me to press 1 to chat with the chief executive. Right, as if! What’s rather amusing is that when I tried to call the number back, my phone provider greeted me with a message stating that "SORRY, THE NUMBER YOU DIALLED DOES NOT EXIST. PLEASE CHECK AND TRY AGAIN." Quite the cheeky ruse, if you ask me!
