there was this awkward quiet moment, then a bloke, sounded middle aged with a thick yorkshire accent, said he knew my name. he claimed he was from some ‘vehicle assessment’ lot, telling me i’d been getting loads of calls from different firms about money set aside for an injury i never had. he said he’d take my info to stop the calls once and for all. i told him i’m on the tps and used to be a director anyway, plus these lot always drop the call if you ask questions. so i ended up giving him a bit of a taste of his own medicine and just hung up!
