We received a call from that number, with the person on the other end claiming they had some splendid news for us - apparently, we had won a prize in a free giveaway. We told them that we hadn’t entered any competition, and after a brief moment of surprise, they simply replied, "Oh, that's alright" before hanging up. It left us pondering whether we had actually won something after all, but a bit of digging revealed it’s likely a scam.

We've received a multitude of calls from THIS number, and each time it's the same routine. For roughly five minutes, we get told phrases like, "I've got a call for you, please hold," "I'm still trying to get you through, just a moment," and "attempting to connect, bear with me." Then it concludes with, "unable to connect, my apologies." If anyone has any clue about who might be behind these calls, do give us a shout at para. [email protected].

We've been absolutely fed up with this. We receive calls from this number about four times a day and we never pick up. It’s always the same number that comes up when we check 1471. We’ve tried calling it back twice now, but it’s constantly busy. Is there anywhere I can report this as a nuisance call?
