Definitely a dodgy operation! I received a call claiming to be from Sky’s Technical Department, and I must say, the manner was absolutely shoddy. The fellow poked into my wifi security, insisting that my connection was endangering their servers. To top it off, he threatened to disconnect my wifi altogether and said I’d regret it. He had the audacity to belittle me, saying I was powerless to do anything about it.
When I pressed for a name, he referred to himself as Kevin Root, though his Indian accent raised my suspicions that it was likely a false identity.
He then rattled off a Sky ID, SKY007635835839, instructing me to reach out to their Manchester tech support.

It leaves a terrible taste in one's mouth, and I really wish there was a way to report these blokes to the proper authorities. The fact that they can disrupt someone's day or potentially extract sensitive information is quite worrying, isn’t it?
