12 yearsGot a call from this number earlier today. Since it showed up as a local one, and I live near a bunch of elderly folks who often ring me up if they need anything, I picked up straight away. To my surprise it was a bloke speaking with a strong Liverpool accent asking for my husband. I told him he wasn’t here right now and asked if I could pass on a message or help in any way. He claimed to be ringing from some solicitor firm (didn’t quite catch the name) about a car accident my husband was supposedly involved in a few years back. I told him firmly that my husband has never been in any accident like that. After that, the guy just said sorry for disturbing us and hung up. Just so you know, we’re on the TPS list. Definitely seems like a scam or some sort of fishing attempt to me.
