12 yearsI just received a call from this number, and given that it looked like a local one, I thought it might be one of my elderly neighbours needing assistance-as they often do. So, I picked up the phone. To my astonishment, I found myself speaking to a chap with a thick Liverpool accent inquiring about my husband. When I told him my husband was out and offered to assist or take a message, he introduced himself as calling from... (couldn't quite make out the name of the company) and mentioned something about a motor accident my husband supposedly had a couple of years back. I informed him that my husband has never been in an accident. He promptly apologised for the bother and hung up. We’re actually registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so this was quite unexpected. Caller: Didn’t get the name, some dodgy “solicitor” firm (total SCAM).
