I just received a really dodgy phone call featuring a robotic voice claiming that £79.99 had been taken from my credit card for the auto-renewal of my Amazon Prime subscription. I’ve blocked the number! Whatever you do, don’t fall for their trick and press button 1, no matter how convincing they sound. It’s definitely a scam!

Got a call at 9.21 on the 15th of November 2021, claiming something about my Amazon Prime subscription being renewed. They said some amount like £79 was going to be taken from my bank, but I can’t quite recall the exact sum. They kept telling me to press 1 or something, but it was obviously a dodgy scam. I don’t even have Prime, so I definitely didn’t press anything!
