Just received a call a mere ten minutes back. My caller ID indicated it was from "International." I chose not to answer, and they disconnected as soon as my answering machine kicked in. I concur with what others have said about this number-these scammers are now adept at producing random phone numbers.

I received a call that purported to be from BT, supposedly hailing from London, yet the number 01606 actually belongs to Northwich in Cheshire. Seriously, who would just sit at their desk waiting for a phone call like that? Thank goodness I’m not that gullible! What’s particularly concerning is that this is the first time anyone has flagged this number. It seems they've got the knack for conjuring up random caller IDs these days. This number is completely unfamiliar to me.
