01606374025 called me out of the blue, claiming they were from Scottish Power. I’ve no clue how they got hold of my number! I’ve been thinking about switching my tariff but never actually done it. Only visited one website, so it’s worrying who might be able to see what you’re browsing.

This number rang me a couple of times earlier today. I’d pick up but nothing comes through for a few seconds, then you can hear noises like a call centre, and suddenly it just hangs up. Seems like spam, but I’m not totally sure.

i was getting loads of calls every day from this pushy sales woman, even though i made it clear i wasn’t interested. she kept going, like she wasn’t getting the message. at one point she asked if i understood what she was saying and when i said it was confusing, she somehow thought that was a good sign! i had to just hang up on her eventually but they didn’t stop calling after that either!

I've received a handful of calls from this number recently. Since it's from my area, I thought it might be someone familiar, but the number didn’t ring any bells, so I opted not to pick up. To be honest, I reckon if it were a legitimate caller, they would have left a message, even something simple to identify themselves and mention they'd ring back.
