I flagged this number as sketchy despite no prior warnings since: firstly, it was definitely an auto-dialler; secondly, sounded like one of those call centre voices; thirdly, they claimed to be from Microsoft security; and finally, the call came from the 01604 area code, which is Northampton. I've lived around here for close to 40 years and Microsoft certainly doesn’t have any call centres in this location. If the area code wasn't just random, then whoever’s behind this is using some pretty clever spoofing tech.
