So I rang them up to ask why these persistent callers were flouting the law. They claimed, "You must have applied for a mortgage online, and I have your details related to that." However, we haven’t applied for a mortgage at all. Plus, with my TPS registration, these folks shouldn't be getting in touch with me at all.

This evening, our landline alerted us to a flurry of ten missed calls from this number. Later, around 8 PM, it rang once more and we decided to answer it. On the other end was a gentleman with an Indian accent, inquiring about someone whose name I’ve never encountered before. Quite perplexing, to say the least!
