Got some bloke from the States keep ringin' talking about "Sonjia" or "Sonya". I’ve lost count, like five or six times now, loads of different American accents asking for "Sonya". Every time I say there’s nobody here with that name and that they must have dialled the wrong business number, not a home phone. I always tell them to take us off their list but like clockwork, they come back again and again. It’s folks like these telemarketers giving the lot of them a bad reputation. What’s the point??

Got a call from an American guy who said his name was "Stanley." We never got anywhere because we couldn't settle on how to say my name properly. I've started trying a new approach with these cold callers - instead of hanging up straight away, I stick around to waste a bit of their time. It's actually quite satisfying when they end up hanging up on me! Haha. Fingers crossed they’ve blocked my number instead of me blocking theirs.

This bloke must have binged on Wall Street, Glengarry Glen Ross and Boiler Room way too often, probably had one too many coffees as well. Your gut feeling will tell you to just block any calls from this number. A few memorable lines: "I'll keep ringing until you say yes." "I'm the one who's asking the questions here, not you!"
