This bloke claimed he was calling from BT, saying my internet was hacked or something. I told him I wasn’t a BT customer, but he said it didn’t matter, they could still spot the issue. I told him straight up he was a scammer, but he just kept insisting he needed to discuss my internet. Eventually, I just hung up and blocked the number.

I’ve noticed that every time I get a strange call on our landline, my mobile starts ringing non-stop too. Guess I’m a favourite target for telemarketers these days. The calls seem to be coming from the Northampton region.
