I got a voicemail saying my internet was going to be cut off soon. It said, ‘press 1 for BT, press 2 for others’, so I hit 2 and got through to a bloke who sounded Indian. He asked about the gadgets I had at home. I didn’t want to say anything and asked him straight up why he was calling me. All he did was beg me to ‘talk to him’, but I kept saying no, thinking maybe he was a scammer from overseas. Then suddenly, he just hung up on me.
