Got a call from a lady called Crystal claiming it was about some Opus energy thing. Told her we don’t have any account with them and she just ended the call right away.

Total tossers. I decided to block and just ignore them. They had some info on me and decided to have a go. But the minute I confronted them about it, off they went, hanging up straight away.

When I requested a contact number to call them back, she informed me that the line would take a good ten minutes to get through! She claimed they were from electricity registrations, but I couldn't find any trace of them online. Then, she mentioned they were associated with UK Power Networks. Odd, isn't it?

I've had loads of calls from 01604 726244, and they're definitely scammers. Honestly, you oughta report them to the government and the TPS because it's proper harassment. Since they're based in the UK, the police could probably track them down without much hassle. Stay safe!

I can absolutely back up what others have said here. We’ve recently shifted our business to a new location, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. They informed us that the previous occupant hadn’t settled their bills, and threatened to cut off our electricity on top of that-turns out our meter wasn’t even registered! Honestly, what an utter nonsense, a blatant scam if you ask me. I can confirm that this call is a scam related to energy. The caller bombarded me with questions, attempting to pin down when I entered into a contract with my energy provider and when the agreement is due to end.

The caller claimed that our meter wasn't registered to anyone, but I knew that was absolute nonsense. When they realised I wasn't biting, they ended the conversation rather abruptly. Interestingly, they refused to provide me with a contact number. I have no doubt in my mind that this was a scam.

Today, I received a rather alarming phone call from a senior lady using this number. She claimed my electricity was about to be cut off due to unpaid bills! Naturally, I felt compelled to look into the matter right away. Upon discovering that her assertions were completely false, I told her where to go and ended the call. It’s painfully obvious that she was attempting to pull a fast one on me.
