Got a phone call today from someone pretending to be from BT, but when I said they weren’t legit, the caller started swearing at me! I’m on the telephone preference service and my number’s ex-directory, but that obviously didn’t stop them. Honestly, I’m thinking about cancelling my landline altogether. The noise in the background made it sound like they’re working out of some massive call centre, running these scams on a massive scale. I get that times are tough, but surely there’s a better way to make a living than this rubbish?
