I got a recorded message claiming I had scammed HMRC and that there was a warrant out for my arrest, telling me to press 1 to talk to my assigned officer right away. The call came from a 01604 number, which I believe is for Northampton, so I looked up their HMRC contact info but found an 0843 number instead. I really hope this is just a scam because I’m starting to panic that I’ve somehow messed up and might get arrested!
