Heads up everyone‼️‼️ There's a bloke named Mark Taylor claiming to be a High Court Warrant Officer, using fake IDs and bogus reference numbers. He’s been ringing me with a dodgy phone number, demanding £700 for some supposed HMRC debt. The guy was proper aggressive, rude and threatening. Even said he had sent a locksmith to my business to break in and seize equipment worth the debt plus locksmith fees. Don’t fall for it or hand over any info - it’s a total scam‼️‼️‼️‼️

Got a phone call from some bloke claiming to be from Birmingham High Court, said his name was Mark Taylor with an ID 3166. He was proper pushy, saying they were outside my shop with a locksmith ready to break in over some debt. He urged me to pay up straight away and gave me a number and a reference to call back. The call came through at about 7 pm. Lucky for me, my place is wired with good CCTV and there wasn’t a soul hanging around outside. Just a heads up to everyone - watch out, it’s definitely a SCAM!

Someone called us claiming to be David Newman and said he was on his way to my house if I didn’t pay £800 straight away for an HMRC debt. He told me he was just 15 minutes away and had a locksmith with him, and that the price would go up if I didn’t pay. He was really pushy and kept ringing back after I refused. He gave a number for Northampton Court, 01604 470400, with a reference 2N66174A, which matches what other people have said. I contacted 101 for advice and the police said it sounded dodgy too. This person is awful, trying to scare folks with such a nasty scam.

Got a call from a private number - similar thing. The person said he was from the police and was after HMRC money owed. He called himself David Newman (definitely made up) from some Court Services. He said he was on his way to collect an overdue payment of £800 or he'd change the locks on the property. He was really aggressive, almost threatening. Gave me a dodgy warrant number but did give the real court phone number to make a payment? What a load of rubbish. This guy should be in jail. Bet he’s scammed loads of folk out of money.

Some bloke rang me saying he was a high court enforcement officer and that I owed money to HMRC. He wanted me to confirm who I was but I told him I'd rather wait for him to show up at my house with proper ID. Then he got really hostile and said the debt would go up by £400 if I insisted on meeting in person since a locksmith would need to break in to get stuff to cover the debt. Started swearing and acting all aggressive. At first he sounded legit but when I asked more questions, things didn’t add up. Felt quite shaken after that call.

I tried contacting Northampton County Court about a PCN from Gateshead, but when I called, a recording said all numbers have changed and redirected me to 01604 470400. I waited on hold for like an hour and a half and noone answered. The supposed offence happened over two years ago. Thing is, I don't even live in Gateshead. I'm proper puzzled. Got a call from someone claiming to be David Newman, a "High Court Bailiff" chasing an HMRC debt. Got a really nasty call from someone who said he was David Newman. He told me I had a CCJ and told me to cough up £850 straight away, saying he was outside my house with locksmiths. I got a call about a debt that I have no clue about. Left a voicemail on my mobile from a private number sayin some bailiff called David Newman would be coming to my place with a locksmith between 5pm and 7pm to either take goods worth £840 or get payment. He gave me an office phone number, 01604 470400. When I called it back, it said the office was open 9am to 5pm but no company name showed up. They also said they’d sent me letters about this supposed debt. It only clicked to me that it was a scam after I searched the phone number online.

I just received a rather alarming call from this number, claiming that our taxes were overdue. The person on the other end was rather aggressive, raising their voice and using foul language. I recently received a call from a withheld number, claiming to be bailiffs. Name: David Newman Job: High Court Bailiff Location: Northampton County Court He rang up claiming to be a Bailiff saying we owed tax money, but we’ve already paid all our taxes. Sounds like the number’s been cloned and the calls are getting forwarded straight to scammers. The bloke was absolutely horrible on the phone and even threatened to seize stuff from a business we don’t even own anymore.

Some bloke named Dave rang me, actin’ proper rude and pushy, sayin’ I owed cash and he was gonna turn up at my place. It was really intimidatin’ and got me proper scared. He gave this number 01604 470400 and said the ref was 2B77217A. Keeps ringin’ back, keepin’ the pressure on about money.

Got a call saying I owed money for PAYE and that they’d come smashing my door in to collect stuff. I mentioned my kid was in the house and then they started threatening to involve social services. They also warned that if they had to visit my work, the charges would be almost twice as much.

Totally a scam. They were really pushy and scary. I called the cops and they told me it was some unpaid PAYE for my company. They even claimed to be nearby and mentioned local shops and landmarks. Sounded so real, it really freaked me out.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be a bailiff for HMRC saying he was heading to my house with a locksmith to seize stuff because of unpaid PAYE. Totally bogus, just trying to scam money from my business. The guy was really pushy and rude. I’ve reported it to the police.

The number showed as Northampton County Court. I picked up and got an automated voice. I pressed 1 like it said, then it asked for my name to pull up my case and if I’m employed. I said no, then it just cut off! I’ve never lived in Northampton, shouldn’t have even picked up really.

01604470400 called me claiming to be from Northampton family court. It was an automated message telling me to press one to speak to someone or else my national insurance number would be cancelled. I didn’t press anything and it just ended the call. I’m pretty sure this is some kind of scam trying to scare people by pretending to be the court. PLEASE DO NOT PICK UP OR ENGAGE WITH THEM and definitely don’t return the call!

When I did, a person with a strong accent came on asking for my name (I just gave my name) and then started saying there’s a case against me for tax evasion and the police are after me. Totally daft. When I asked why they had my address, they just hung up straight away.

When I rang it back, it turned out to be Northampton court service, which is supposedly available from Monday to Friday. Quite odd to receive a call from the courts on a Saturday, so I did a bit of digging online. It seems like it might just be a dodgy scam.

Steer clear of this number! Just had a call from 01604470400 on my mobile. It was some sort of robotic message about the police, then it instructed me to press 1 for assistance regarding a “case number ID.” Naturally, I pressed 1, and a chap with a strong accent answered, requesting my name (which I provided). I received a call from a number that looks dodgy, claiming my National Insurance number might be suspended. They asked me to press 1, and when I connected, it was an Indian-sounding call centre saying, “How may I assist you?” When I replied, “You called me, what’s your name?” they seemed a bit thrown off and the line went dead. It was evidently a spoofed number from Northampton, not HMRC or any UK court!

Just like others here, I pressed 1 and ended up talking to a bloke with an accent who said I owed £1893 or something. The line kept cutting out and sounding weird. I told him it sounded dodgy and ended the call. Then I rang 10604 470400 which is apparently the county court number, the automated message was totally different and way more professional. Heard there’s over 50 people waiting in line. I also searched the number online after. Poor county court staff must be getting swamped with calls because of this. Definitely a SCAM.
